Under the UNDP/GEF project Biomass Energy for Heating and Hot Water Supply in Belarus in April 2006 the

Under the UNDP/GEF project Biomass Energy for Heating and Hot Water Supply in Belarus
from the 3rd to the 10th of April 2005 the delegation of Belarusian high-level decision makers and technical specialists
took part in a study tour to Austria and the Czech Republic
The Study Tour is dedicated to study of modern equipment and technologies of wood fuel combustion, visiting the sites and companies, producing equipment for biomass fired boiler houses and combined heat and power plants (CHP).
Under the project from the 3rd to the 10th of October 2004 the
delegation of Belarusian technical specialists and directors composed of 11 persons took part in a training trip to Austria to study its experience in use of biomass (waste wood) in the provision of heat and electricity production.
